The article is devoted research of right of ownership as a constituent of institutional environment of financial sector. Certainly basic failings in the lead through of privatization in Ukraine and their influence on forming of this sector of economy. The mechanism of including of right of ownership is offered in the strategic programs of development of financial sector ofeconomy of Ukraine.
