Современная система высшего образования постоянно подчеркивает недостаток государственных фондов финансирования для обеспечения высокой конкурентоспособности образовательных услуг. Статья обращается к основной составляющей бюджета университетов – к государственному финансированию, отслеживая те условия, по которым определяются его объемы. Сравнительное исследование европейского опыта, в частности опыта Великобритании, позволяет определить возможные рекомендации для украинской модели финансирования высшего образования.
