У статті проаналізовано міжнародний досвід реструктуризації вугільної промисловості. Досліджено причини державної неефективності реструктуризації та особливості її здійснення країнами з розвиненою ринковою економікою. Ідентифіковано соціально-економічні наслідки реформування та сформульовано заходи підвищення інвестиційної активності для вугільних регіонів, що здійснюють реструктуризацію.

Ключові слова: інноваційний розвиток, реструктуризація, конкурентоспроможність, державне фінансування, енергетичний сектор, вугільна промисловість.
