Досліджено сутність та ознаки системно важливих фінансових інститутів. Обґрунтовано визначення системо-утворюючих фінансових інститутів. Проведено компаративний аналіз понять “системно важливі”, “системно значущі”, “системоутворюючі фінансові інститути” та встановлено співвідношення між ними.

Ключові слова: фінансова система, системно важливі фінансові інститути, системно значущі фінансові інститути, системоутворюючі фінансові інститути, системний ризик.
