Досліджуються причини і передумови економічного зростання Швеції після тривалої кризи 1980-90-х рр. Розкрито сутність процесу розробки та реалізації стабілізаційної макроекономічної політики у Швеції на  шляху до досягнення сталого розвитку економіки. Досліджено застосування шведським урядом та центральним банком стабілізаційного інструментарію. Розроблені рекомендації щодо покращення економічного середовища в Україні.

Ключові слова: стабілізаційна політика; лібералізація економічного середовища; збалансованість бюджету; швед­ська модель.
